Alejandro Ocampo (1939 – 2016)
The author of the legacy
Lic. Alejandro Ocampo was the foundational pillar in building what is today Ocampo 1890. His joining the firm in 1959 marked the start of an era of unprecedented specialization. As a visionary of the sector, he transformed the family practice into a national reference, driving the Civil, Commercial Litigation and Amparo practice areas with technical rigor.
Recognized as one of the most influential consultants in Insurance and Surety Bonds matters in Mexico, he was a distinguished member of the Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa (ANADE) and of the Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados. His passing in 2016 left a legacy of ethics and excellence that continues to guide our practice, under the direction of his son, Aldo Ocampo.
